Wood Board Care and Maintenance

Wood reacts to the environment it’s placed in. Follow these steps to ensure that your board has a long and happy life.

• We recommend that you apply warm mineral oil to all surfaces. Let the oil soak in, then wipe away the excess. Repeat this process every 4-5 times you wash the board. This will prevent drying, splitting, and cracking.
• To clean, wash with warm water and a small amount of dish soap, then rinse and dry. Never immerse or let the board soak the board in water.

Cautions:

• Do not soak in water
• Do not put in dishwasher
• Do not leave on a wet surface
• Do not store in a humid area
• Keep away from heat
